The office brings to seven the number of offices that Kinsteller now operates. The Almaty office will be run by Joel Benjamin, formerly of White & Case and SNR Denton. Mr Benjamin has been based in the country since 1993. Adlet Yerkinbayev, a colleague of Mr Benjamin's at SNR Denton, is also joining the new office. 

The new practice will have a particular focus on banking, finance, capital markets, corporate, commercial and sector experience in oil and gas, mining, telecoms and media.
