Nearly half (42) of the finance directors in the UK top 100 say that the cutting of unprofitable teams is looking likely over the next twelve months. kentoh

The picture is bleaker than last year when only 38 took this view and markedly bleaker than two years ago when only 17 gave this reply. Sam Steer of Thomson Reuters UK Legal, which carried out the research, said: ‘There is a growing acceptance that the economic recovery alone is not going to restore all practice areas to health.’ Source: Financial Times
