The lay-offs are taking place across three practice groups. Managing partner Sharon Cook said: ‘We haven’t done this [redundancies] for a long time. It was done to ensure the ongoing success of the firm.’ She says that the firm is in a strong position overall, adding that it is ‘committed to reducing costs and increasing productivity’.
