Lawyer and former mayor confesses to irregularities on client funds
The former mayor of St Louis, Freeman Bosley, has admitted to a state panel that he did not handle client funds properly in his law firm, Bosley & Associates.

He is due to hear his punishment within 30 days. At one stage the sum in the trust account he operated fell to such a low level that cheques drawn on the account bounced. He told the Missouri Supreme Court's Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel: 'I did not do as good of a job as I should have done. I'm not running from that.' However, a state investigator said that she had found 'no dishonesty, no selfish motives' in his actions. Source: St Louis Business Journal
