While other leading firms are emphasising their work in M&A, Linklaters has a rather different explanation of its income this year. It said that its turnover rose becuase of the fact that 'significant demand for our services has come from banks and financial services clients with contentious and non-contentious regulatory enforcement work, litigation and arbitration being particularly active'.
