The extra bonus element will add between £2,500 and £10,000 to the gross pay packets of people who receive it. Regular surveys will be sent to clients in order to gauge the client service that is being given. The first such payments will be made in July next year.

The firm is concerned that traditional remuneration systems can reward inefficiency by encouraging lawyers to clock up more hours.
