Katy Perry: contract squabble

The Sun reports that Ms Perry - who was the face of the brand’s products for two years – claims she is owed £1.35million from British company Jemella Group from a verbal agreement. However, Jemella said they dropped her because her popularity was starting to dip.
A Spokesman for Ms Perry fanned the flames further by claiming that Jemella’s ‘attempt to  embarrass’ Ms Perry was ‘shameful’, adding that the company was ‘backing out of the deal because of an ownership change, and just throwing shade to hide their bad faith’.
