Confusion still covers the fate of staff at Bingham McCutchen after about three quarters of its partners, 227 altogether, agreed a mass defection to Morgan Lewis & Bockius. While a previous report had suggested that some or most of the staff at its global legal services centre in Lexington would be employed at Morgan Lewis, unnamed sources say that some staff were given notice on Tuesday that their employment would finish on Friday.
