The 40-year old Society for Computer in Law (SCL) is opening in Dublin on 28 May. David Soanes

The Irish branch of the SCL will look at a wide range of legal issues from hacking to ‘rights to be forgotten’ to privacy. John O’Connor, head of technology and commercial contracts at Matheson, will be chairing the group. Many global IT companies have significant presences in the country - and Facebook and Microsoft will be represented on the committee. Source: Silicon Republic
