Philadelphia-based law firm Duane Morris has bagged Pierfrancesco Carbone to slot into the firm’s growing corporate practice group as a partner. Covington & Burling has strengthened its anti-corruption and trade control practices with the addition of David Lorello from Steptoe & Johnson as a partner in its London office. The Washington DC-based firm has concentrated significantly on its anti-corruption practice in Europe in the last few months, notably adding Casey Cooper to the London practice in February.

Dublin’s Mason Hayes & Curran has promoted Eoin Cassidy to its partnership in the construction law division. Mr Cassidy joined the practice 10 years ago, and advises banks, state bodies, developers, contractors, and construction professionals.
