Women account for 15pc of lawyers in top Indian rankings

Amarchand Mangaldas comes top of the Chambers and Partners rankings as regards women - nine of its female lawyers get a mention in the listings.Among the main six sectors described, women have penetrated the banking sector best - and 34 per cent of people mentioned in this area are female.
