Women capture half of top appointments

BarkerGilmore, a New York-based executive search company, says that nearly half of its legal, compliance and board member appointments are being filled by women.

Recent surveys have given less encouraging readings of the progress of women in senior legal appointments but BarkerGilmore says it has 'an unparalleled record for diversity recruitment' and that it will continue to use this approach.
