David Rogers, head of the firm's labour, employment and benefits practice and a member of the firm’s management and executive committee in Washington DC, has resigned. He is heading for Winston & Strawn along with nine other partners. Mr Rogers is said to have disagreed with some of the firm’s management decisions regarding de-equitizations and layoffs. At one point he was in the running to become chair of the firm - a position now held by Ira Coleman. The departure is said to be acrimonious, according to Bloomberg.
