CC loses third German partner in a month as ex-corporate boss joins Milbank

The departure of ex-corporate chief Arndt Stengel for Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy in Frankfurt follows on the heels of two partner losses in February to Latham & Watkins.

Mr Stengel was head of the corporate team in Germany between 2010 and 2013. Clifford Chance has been shaking up its German structures. After the appointment of Peter Dieners as managing partner in 2014, the practice reviewed its operation and asked nine partners to leave.
