Experienced privacy and compliance lawyer Benedicte Bayi-Mathijsen has joined the Luxury Law Alliance advisory board.
Based in New York, she serves as senior director for privacy and compliance at Christian Dior Couture. In this role and her initial general corporate and M&A practice, she works across countries and cultures to counsel, guide and translate legal requirements into business strategies, product features and agreements.
Bayi-Mathijsen also assists in training employees to build trust, reduce risks, aid sales and maintain compliance across functions. She is fluent in English and French.
Before joining Dior, Bayi-Mathijsen gained experience in private practice in New York and then as an in-house counsel at several companies, including Facebook, Twitter, PayPal and a global hospitality company in Paris.
As a Luxury Law Alliance advisory board member, she joins senior representatives from brands including Burberry, Charlotte Tilbury, Louis Vuitton, Rosewood Hotels, Marc Jacobs, L’Oreal, Manolo Blahnik and PVH Corp.
