Female lawyers over 30 earn less than men

Research released by Eversheds also shows that only a third of women (34 per cent) plan to stay in a law firm for all their career and that under two-thirds (57 per cent) want to become a partner. The firm surveyed 1800 young lawyers,aged 23-40 years old, around the world. The findings also revealed that the new breed of young lawyer wants to reform the legal sector and see  law firms as commercial businesses rather than part of a profession. Technology is the key to this shift, they say.
