The poll revealed that two in three respondents defined their role as 'more challenging', while one in three described it as 'more fulfilling'. Most agreed that the role was more business focused, but fewer said it was 'more stimulating'. Law firm respondents also felt their jobs were more challenging, with 80 per cent in agreement. Meanwhile, one in four corporate counsel believed that general counsel were more likely to become CEOs than before. The poll was conducted by the Global Legal Post in association with Integreon in the run-up to the GC Futures Summit on 9 November.
