Haynes and Boone snap up Rosenblatt duo

Tom Ferns and Nick Foss-Pedersen join the 600 lawyer US law firm as London partners in the Corporate Practice Group. Their practices focus on mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and capital markets and securities work, private equity and venture capital transactions, and other corporate transactions. The lawyers have a well-established practice in London, where they represent companies in various sectors, including technology, financial services, media, and energy. Their clients also include sponsors, brokers and nomads; corporate finance houses; and other investors and entrepreneurs.  This is the latest London hire for Haynes and Boone CDG, which was formed via a merger last year. The firm also hired three London partners in February, Emma Russell, Zoë Connor, and Andreas Silcher, who augmented the firm’s finance, shipping and energy practices

Mr Ferns has handled buy and sell side M&A, IPOs, secondary fundraisings, public to private transactions, and management buy ins and buy outs, among other matters. He was previously a partner in the London office of Rosenblatt and was head of the firm’s Corporate Practice.
