Revenues fall four per cent at Morrison & Foerster

The 1,000-lawyer Morrison & Foerster, whose clients have included Apple and the Beijing Olympics Organising Committee, has seen turnover fall four per cent in 2014 - but it says that profitability has been rising.

The 17-office practice has been hit in London by some senior level departures, leading to a 33 oer cent turnover fall in the UK capital. Global income fell through the US$1b barrier, taking it down from just over $1b to $968m. The firm says that profitabiliity per partner stayed still at $1.4m - but that, looking back over a three-year period, profits per partner have gone up.
