US industrial tech manufacturer Littelfuse has hired Anne-Marie D’Angelo as chief legal officer, replacing Ryan Stafford in the role.

D’Angelo was most recently general counsel at hotel giant Hilton, before leaving the company at the end of 2024. She brings more than two decades of legal and executive experience to the CLO and corporate secretary role at Littelfuse. She is due to join on 1 May.

Chicago-based Littelfuse makes electrical safety products such as fuses, relays, switches and sensors.

Greg Henderson, president and chief executive officer of Littelfuse, said: “[D’Angelo] is a proven leader with an exceptional track record of navigating complex global legal and regulatory landscapes. Her deep expertise in corporate governance, M&A and strategic planning will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth and deliver long-term value for our shareholders.”

D’Angelo spent a year as GC at Hilton, before a short stint as a special adviser to the CEO. Prior to that she spent just over a year as chief legal and government affairs officer at Molson Coors. She also had in-house spells at NiSource (as GC), Global Brass & Copper (as GC and associate GC) and McDonalds (as assistant US GC, among other roles).

She started her career in private practice at Burke Warren MacKay & Serritella.

Stafford, meanwhile, is set to exit the business at the end of this month after more than 19 years, having initially joined as GC in 2007 before being made CLO in 2014.

He previously worked in-house at Tyco International, including as vice president of China Operations and GC for Tyco’s engineered products and services business.

In other manufacturing moves, in February jet engine-maker Rolls-Royce hired Maria Varsellona as CLO from Unilever, replacing Mark Gregory. Also in February, toolmaker Stanley Black & Decker hired Francesca Campbell as GC from Carrier, replacing the seat left empty by Janet Link’s November departure.

Last October US packaging-maker Greif appointed deputy GC Dennis Hoffman as GC, replacing Gary Martz in the role.

A month earlier in September, indoor heating, cooling and ventilation-maker Trane Technologies hired former TechnipFMC legal head Victoria Lazar as CLO, replacing Evan Turtz. And also in September, US chemicals manufacturer Huntsman hired Julia Wright as GC, replacing David Stryker.
