A&O loses place on panel of leading UK energy client

Allen & Overy and Squire Patton Boggs are two of the firms to fall off the panel at the National Grid, leaving space for new entrants including Herbert Smith Freehills and Addleshaw Goddard.

The National Grid, the high voltage elecricity transmission network for Great Britain, has cut the numbers of firms on its panel to 12, down by nearly a half through its recent reviews. Firms that have been reappointed are CMS Cameron McKenna, DLA Piper, Eversheds and Linklaters. Norton Rose Fulbright is another firm to win a place on the panel but will give specialist, rather than full service, support. Source: Legal Business
